Comp Set Key Account Recap Report

Want to know which accounts are meeting the most in your comp set so that you can better prioritize your prospecting efforts? Check out the Comp Set Key Account Recap Report to better understand the accounts in your comp set and the frequency in which they book meetings!

This report compares group activity for up to two years for the hotels in your comp set. This report compares monthly and yearly group activity along with the percentage change between the two selected years. Compare the event saturation of the most active groups between the same two years. At a group level, the report shows how many events they are hosting per month, and how many events a group is sending to competitors. Note: this report will only be available if you have a comp set built. The report is based on the calendar year (January through December).

1. Login to the Knowland Platform.
2. Click on the Menu button in the top left corner of the platform.
3. Click on Comp Set Key Account Recap Report which can be found under the Comp Set Metrics section in the Menu.

4. Click on Customize & Export.

5. A pop-up with appear, requiring you to enter two years, selecting the specific comp you wish to research, followed by click the green Export Report button.
 
 

6. An Excel file will download. Open the file.
7. You will see that there are three tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Top 25 Accounts, Top Groups by Month, and Top Groups Per Hotel.
8. The first tab covers the top 25 groups within that comp set you selected.

9. The second tab covers top groups by month, showing you the frequency by each month for the two years selected.

10. The third tab covers top groups per hotel, allowing you to see the top 10 groups per hotel in your comp set and the percentage change year-over-year.
